I am now the caretaker of an almost 4 year old black and white Argentine tegu. My daughter just gave her to me. Her older sister had purchased her as a baby & quickly gave her up. My daughter wanted her. But because of my daughter's health issues, she has decided to sell her or donate her to a loving home. It makes me sad, but relieved. For now, she is mine. My health issues also do not afford me the time and energy our tegu deserves. We are nearly certain that "Teku" is a female. She's not aggressive, but rarely handled. We need to re-home her. We are in western NY. Where do we start?
