I hae used a 125 watt in a 40g breeder for my beardie since I had him since mid february so it has to be changed next month but I have had no issues except the longer I have had it the less heat it puts out. At first I had to find a way to back it off he tank and now I'm at the point of where I have to raise the beardies rocks closer to the light, but my beardie is just about 7 months old and he is 17" long and very healthy so I really have nothing bad to say about solarglo bulbs and I plan on using solarglo with my extreme giant, beardies need more uvb than tegus so I figure the extreme will be more than healthy. I have read horrible things about solarglos that were made a year ago, I assume that since exoterra is a big name and would have to fix these bulbs to stay competitive in the market

great light. i use it on both my adult male iguanas and both my tegus. cheaper than the solar glo and better IMO. brings out better colors

I use the solar glo 160w. Its been great in the 2 years I've used them for reptiles. I am considering trying the mega ray though. There haven't been any issues or concerns with the solar glo, I'm just curious to see if there is a difference and if so, how much of one.

I just picked this bulb up about 30 mins ago. Tomorrow I have to get a thermometer.

Petsmart also had a two pack zoomed bulb pack on sale for $10 less. It had a uva/b CFL and a heat lamp. It looked like a pretty good combo, but I was already at the store and didnt want to go home and research first.
