Interesting! I haven't fed my tegu mealworms in ages. Wonder how that would go.

Get a small 3oz bag from anywhere that sells wild bird supplies. Soak them in a little warm water and see if your tegu likes them before you buy bulk. Don't feed too much mealworms at one time because of the large amount of chitin which could cause a blockage if you overdo it.
