Ok.. I had an idea ..

This could be an alternative to an 8 foot enclosure for someone.

The dimensions would be 5-6'x3-4'x5-6'

it would be built with two 5-6' floors with a ramp going up..

On floor could be the hot floor, and one could be the cold floor.

A hide on each..

could this be an alternative to those who don't have that room but have the height?

For a tegu? I read they don't do much climbing,which is not hard to believe considering there size when full grown. It truly does seem like a good plan,but the attention should be more focused on length and width as opposed to height for a tegu, 4 or 5ft of height will do 5 or 6 ft of length will not IMO. This cage idea would make an awesome start off cage for a young monitor.

it would be two floors the. with like a ramp going to the top one from the bottom so the tegu could just walk up onto the second floor
