Dozer sleep/wake schedule has changed

so, Dozer has been in his big enclosure for almost 2 weeks now. When he was in his 40gal tank he got up by noon, now he doesn't come out till 4 or 5pm, and I'm not usually home at that time, is there any way to get him up sooner? Making it really hard to have any bonding time except a couple days a week. Should I alter his lighting (day/night) schedule?
