Hey guys. I just finished moving some stuff around in my enclosure and playing with the temps. I got the basking spot to 130 directly where the the is beaming on. But the spot around it range from 100-130 degrees... So he moves around the to get his temps. The rest of the cage is between 85-95 degrees throughout the day except his basking spot. Then at night when all lights are off, temps are from 75-85 degrees. The only concern i have is the away the basking bulb is positioned.. It infront of him.. Here's a pic...

As you can see the side facing the light is getting blasted and I just want to make sure its safe and won't cause any eye problems or anything like that...

Mmmm well when i goes to sleep take the light out and blast it in your eyes. If its too bright for you its probably too bright for him. I would position the bulb over him if you think it could hurt him.

85 is too high for a cool end temp. Needs to be closer to 75. Can you take a pic of the entire enclosure?
