Custom Enclosure Help

Sometime in June, I will be designing my first custom enclosure for a baby Argentine Tegu I am getting later on this year. The cage will be 7'L x 3 1/2'D x 3'H. It will be an under the bed enclosure so my twin size mattress will be on top. I've already read the tegu cage tutorial but I am still a little confused on what materials I will need.

I was just wondering if anyone who has made a custom enclosure for their tegu(s) could tell me some of the materials you used? My enclosure is going to be made out of Plywood. I was going to go with Melamine but I've heard it's much heavier. Any tips and pictures are welcome as well :)

3/4" plywood, 2x4s and screws. Seal it with Drylok and it should be fine.
