Wassup tegutalk. Today was a crazy day for me. I went to the daytona expo show and let me tell you, if i was into snakes, that place would be my dream!!!..lol. So many different types of snakes. With so many colors. Big ones, small ones, bright ones, dark ones, all kinds. I even got to see one bite a guy. He came over to the table we were checking out and asked the guy for help. At this point, the yellow and white boa was wrapped around his risk. His hand was blue... like no blood in it, blue.. So the guy began to help unwrap the snake from his hand, finally just as he's getting ready to put the snake back in the bin, It grabbed on to the skin inbetween his thumb and index finger. OUCH!!!!.. It was crazy!!! the snake started to wrap around his hand again as it was sinking its teeth into this dude's skin. As the other guy tried to unwrap the snake, it like flipped its head along with the guys hand, kinda like how our tegu's shake their food, and wrapped around again. Finally they were able to get the snake off the guy and into the bin. Blood was flowing out of this man hand, like a stream. That whole scene was insane. lol. But other than that, It was a great show. I learned a lot and saw a lot of intresting animals hatchling tegus, tree montiors, caiman lizards, which i never knew was so different, and an albino blue full of eggs. Of course i had to see underground's blue x red albino and the blue x red paradox. They were awesome looking. Really. I thought it was just another underground thing, but for real these guys are sick!!!.. Stupid me though, i only took a picture of the price for you guys. lol.
ALSO!!!!! FOR THE NEWS!!!! I got my blue tegu!!! He's so tiny. He hatched on the 7th of august and is as beautiful as can be. I had him probed by three different breeders just to make sure he is a "he". I hope its a male at least. I'll take some pics for you guys when he wakes up tomorrow so you can see how small he is. He's just as big as a crayola crayon. REALLY!!!. I've never seen a tegu this small before. I mean when i got prime, my aa, last year, bobby told me he was about a month old. Prime could fit in the palm of my hand. This guy fits on my index finger and he's a week lol.. Its amzing how big they become from such small animals and so fast!!. Anyways I have some questions for you guys to help me out with this little guy..
1- Since he's so small, what should i feed him? super small crickets, ground turkey, etc.? Today i tried feeding him some crickets we got from the show for him, i put 2 in a shoe box allong with him and he ate one and left the other one. Then he started to run around the box like he was scared of something, so i pulled him out, put him in the 40 and turned on the powersun?.. Bad?. Good?.
2-When they are this small they are super easy to handle, do you guys recommend me holding him everyday, you know getting him use to being handled?.. or should i wait couple of days for him to get use to his new life?...
3- He gets lost in this 40 gallon breeder. Its way too big. Do you recommend me keeping him in there or should i put him in a smaller cage, just until he grows a little. I've heard the more space they have the better, bigger, and faster they grow..
4- Give him a bath or put a big enough water dish for him to soak in?.
5- FINALLY, lol. The name. I got either blue beard or goose (color of the grey goose bottle
) Throw some names at me, i'm always down for a good laugh =).
On to the pictures and a video of underground bring in the business!!!

Thanks guys. I'll get pics of my blue as soon as possible.
