Ceiling mount UVB W/Hood

I'm redoing my enclosure soon and I'd like to move from a fluorescent UVB source to a mercury vapor source - Most likely a PowerSun 160W.

I'm going to be mounting the bulb on the ceiling and I was hoping to get some advice on what fixture to use. I have some sufficiently high wattage ceramic fixtures, however, I'd like to get some sort of dome or cage to protect the bulb and I'm not sure what to get.

I'd hate for a flailing tegu tail to make contact with the bulb - and I've almost had that happen a few times recently with my basking bulb. The fixtures I've seen for reptiles seem to be designed to sit on top of a screen and aren't equipped for ceiling mounting - I could hang one by the cord but that seems like a bad idea.

Do you guys have any recommendations?

Also for a similarly sized bulb - how far do you typically keep it from the basking spot?

I put a uvb tube mounted on the back wall of nile's cage. I'm planning on mounting a dual socket flood for a halogen on the ceiling and will build up the basking spot accordingly.

Oh sorry...you want mercury vapor... i have some of those bulbs but have never used because do not have the proper fixure. I blew one up not realizing can't go in a dome light socket. :p 'whoops '

I have my Power Suns in a ceramic fixture on the ceiling without a guard. But the ceiling is high and has never been a problem. They do sell "cages" for the bulbs but I'm not sure how they attach. I think it is a fixture itself, like a dome with a socket and cord.
