It really depends on the genetics of the parents. I've seen smaller blues for the most part in the US. Your super blue guy there, Chris, is not like what we have here.

is he a big boy for a blue then, never seen another mature male, my female seems to have maxed out at just over 3ft, where he is 4 1/4 ft now, think his growth is slowing though as his appetite is waining a bit. hes over 11 lb with a full tummy. im afraid he may get to big for my female by next year. these guys came from brazil so could that mean that some of these uk blues could reach the b&w size range, i suppose time will tell, i know when most b&ws come up for sale in the uk there only around the 4ft mark, so i suppose hes already there for the uk, but what if he keeps going to 5ft, aaagggghhhh.

George the 4ft beast.

yea he is kind of darker, but after a shed that dull white turns awsome blue, his lady friend is much whiter bit more like those in the states, makes you wander how many variations there are in these animals, sizes colours, my female was even unusual in her own right, she laid 32 eggs, which i have been told is alot compared to what they lay in the states, heres a pic of his mrs.

If we had that here, I'd buy a blue. If I could get one of your eggs over here......

I mean when they hatch of course :)

Is exporting easy or a pain, or very expensive, I don't know, I may have to look down this root in the future, I live in a small country where demand could be filled quickly.

Because of the supply and demand, pound to dollar exchange, etc, I imagine that you will make more money with those tegus in the UK this year. However I never think of such things when I have eggs in the incubator so as not to jinx myself. haha I am not superstitious in any way, but found that I am really weird about tegu eggs. I won't even count them in the incubator. :p

My jaw always drops when I see pictures of your George.

Tell you what, if you bring George over here, I have a Black&White x Red that'll be ready in a couple years. We could breed some true Brit "Union Jack Tegus".

Whaddya say, eh? ;)
