calking how many coats?

I am calking the enclosure now with a thick coat and I am wondering if I should go back over it for a 2nd time with the calk. Or would I be fine with one coat? I didnt realize how fast a tube goes.

I usually use plain silicone, but as long as you have no little holes then you should be ok. We typically only go once unless we end up s screwing into something and jeopardize the sealing from the wood pulling tighter together.

You pay $10 for a tube and you barely make it to the end of the build.

We're actually sealing our newest enclosure right this second.

One coat should be fine as long as the gaps are full.
