Did you know that you can feed eggshells to your Tegu giving him a perfect source of natural calcium? I feed my Tegu Spartacus shells with every egg he eats. You do not have to buy expensive calcium supplements just grind up eggshell and put a small amount in his food. An egg shell is made almost entirely of calcium carbonate!
