Ok so i am going to start building my 8x3x2.5 here in about a wk and a half and the only question i have is for those who have diy enclosures do you have both front accessing doors and top accessing doors or just front? cause i was thinking that havin both, thought it would help with the whole cleaning of the enclosure but was not sure about temps though. would greatly appreciate input.

I would make the decision based on where the end product was going to be located.. Lower to the ground top door seems more convenient for cleaning. Higher up, like dresser height, I might go with front access. My 2 cents anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.

are you going to use external heat? how are you going to build it ? do you have at least 5 months of very warm weather in V.A. beach each year? if so you should be ok ,because you can increase the humidity by adding water to the enclosure (misting, moist substrate ect.) heres what I built.
