mold and fungus can grow from high humidity. Do you have pics of your enclosure.

He could be defecating on you to tell you to put him down. It is a defense mechanism.

When I get my Gu out. First things first, his bath, 9 times out of 10 he goes in there. As for the humidity I'm not sure I try and stay at 65%-70%.

Like tommylee said, a little soak in some lukewarm water will usually get them to empty their tank.

It was to get the humidity up but i dont use it much anymore....but i had a towel over one of the vents so i just took that off...so well see if that brings my humidity down, since i think the reason why the humidity is so high cause his encloser is in my basment...and whats the best way to stop the deficating when held???

Generally defecating on you is a defense mechanism, his way of saying put me down. As some have said you could try putting him in the tub to go when you first take him out of the enclosure.

Just until he poo's, or until he's clearly had enough of being in there :) it's not an exact science when it comes to bath time !

I don't let dexter do anything without putting him a bath first. He will poop where ever he wants. Bath time means poop time. He only poops in his water dish.
