Argentine and columbian

I was reading a thread about if it was possible to make a columbian argentine hybrid, and I was wondering if you could keep them in the same cage. I would think the columbian would disturb the argentine during hibernation. just a thought. I know people keep more than one tegu in the same cage, but I hadn't seen a columbian and an argentine in the same cage.

i personaly dont think a columbian and arg will breed an as far as i know it hasnt been done... an i also would not keep them in the same cage

Well it would be different but dont think it is possible to breed Columbians to argentines. :dead

well the argentine may eat the Smaller teguixin columbiain . Yes

I have a male Colombian that "did it" with a female Argentine several times but nothing came of it. The female got moved around some afterwards; didn't have a place to nest, etc. I don't know if that had anything to do with why there were no eggs or if they just wouldn't produce. (Karniflex-I'm talking about "Sheila !" LOL)
