Anybody else's Gu growing like a damn weed?

Little Kimo has grown 2" in the last 16 days!!! I swear I can almost watch him grow.
For a while there I thought I had a slow grower, he was at a steady 1/2" a month or so, but now he's eating like an absolute pig, and growin like crazy. My only wish is that he wasn't such a picky eater!

This is a pic from the 27th (May), he's grown another inch since then! Not to mention he seems to be growing out just as fast as he's growing long.

He's sleeping at the moment, but I'll have to grab another pic tomorrow for reference. I was told they grow fast, but I love it that he actually is now.

you aint seen nothing yet, wait til he figures out how yummy those other foods are lol, then he will be pushing 1-2"+ a week, especially when he hits those major growth spurts, both of my tegus have grown 12"+ each since the end of april, i, like you was a lil dissappointed at first cause they grew so slow lol im used to fast growing, always hugry and active tegus, but after hibernation everything realy picked up now i gots 2 chuncky gu's lol

mine are getting a lot more plump, since they didnt go down over the winter they got most of their length then

Link is growing at a rate of about an inch a week, sometimes more. He's shedding every few weeks now.

yep, they grow so fast...
I've had mine for about 6 weeks and he has grown almost exactly 6 inches. lol
got him at 15 inches long and he is now within a 1/4 inch of 21. I'm looking forward to when he really starts to thicken though, since a lot of his growth has been length.
