We seem to be making good progress. Today he let me bathe him and even tong feed him some eggs. From what I've read, it seems to generally take awhile for them to accept tong feeding, I'd say this is a good sign?

Anytime he isn't running from you, you're making progress. There can be pros and cons to tong feeding. One pro would be him being more comfortable, one con would be him associating you with food which "could" lead to biting. I have almost always fed guru in the enclosure, I have almost always put his food in front of him bare handed, we haven't had issues. I think it depends on the tegu but it is just some food for thought for you.

I gotcha. He seems pretty comfortable I would say. He was very calm during his bath. climbed up on me and just chilled on my hand for awhile.
