5 Day Thawed Out Chicken

Hello again

I was wondering if it would be safe to feed the tegu some 5 day old uncooked chicken that has been sitting in the fridge. It doesn't smell like it has gone bad, but I wouldn't eat it. The chicken is free range and healthy before killed if that matters.

My tegu likes to play a game where she hides meat behind furniture where I can't get to it. Then she brings it back out days later and makes a mess with it, but still eats it before I can get it away from her. That being said, 5 day old chicken is probably not going to hurt a tegu. They seem to be pretty opportunistic with their food...if it looks edible, they will try to eat it. And usually succeed.

Worst thing that seems to happen is extremely stinky poo, lol.

Well, I doubt it can be worse than my monitor's human sized poos... Those could stink up a jacuzzi in seconds. I have to take him outside to do his business in a kiddy pool nowadays.
