Well thankfully at the moment that is the one aspect of our life that our government has yet to infringe upon, although they are getting dangerously close to it...
i would say that's more than adequate for it. i keep my bp's on newspaper in a rubbermaid sweater box and they do great. i'm sure yours will also. enjoy.
I wouldn't let them in either. Even if you aren't doing anything wrong, they have no right to be in your home and in your business. It's an invasion of your privacy, and tell them to go piss up a rope!
If you are using cypress mulch or something like that, they are probably wood mites. I had them also, I had to take all the substrate out and freeze it. I don't think they are harmfull to the tegu, but they aren't fun to have.
