i clearly know that its not a good idea which is y i took it out when i found it it grew from me juss chuckin seeds around my room the circulation in my room is pretty good so second hand wouldnt be and issue and now im talkin about my red which isnt the one that bit me in the face lol
Well I found the plant in my reds tank hes in a different room hes fine actually starting to get much more tame which im happy about and i did remove the plant from his tank.
Ya Bobby its one of your extreme giants my roommate got her from you like 2 months ago bc his last B&W broke its neck jumping off the bed. I don't even really let her next to my face she'll run up and just bit you right in the face shes crazy she also looooooves to fight inanimate objects lol
So I haven't been on the forum for a couple of days so I have some stories to share. The other mornin I wake up took my tegu out of his taank bc i started letting him roam around my room all day which he loves, and I look into his tank and there is a weed plant growing in my tank haha. I guess...
I live in massachusettes and I think you could keep your tegu in the garage depending with the correct heating but personally I wouldn't do it though temps vary from day to day so much in new england lol.
Ya the fogger like shocks you when u put your finger near it so you can't put it in the bowl without like a screen box around it, i spent a good amount of time trying to figure out a way just got frustrated lol. If you can find a way to keep your tegu from being able to get at the fogger it does...
Me and my roommate tried using the habamister and didn't like it that much. It makes so much noise and didn't end up really being worth it as far as humidity goes but thats just in my personal opinion, I know some people that like them.
I'll put my red tegu on my face and he doesn't do anything except lay down on my face haha. I was actually laying down in bed and she can up to my face so ya. I had a little vision loss for like 15 minutes but after that I had continuous headaches for like 2 days haha, it was and experience.
My roommate has an extreme she so different compared to my red, a lot more active. Her eating habits are also very different a bit more aggressive eater and she also won't eat fruit. Funny story she actually just bit me in the eye last week broke a bunch of blood vesicles in my eyeball and left...
