I go to work at 7am & usually get home around 7pm... My wife turns on Malice's light around 5pm... By the time I get home she's already basked for about an hour or so (depending on her mood), so I take her out and hold her until for about 30 mins, then put her back in her tank while I prepare...
I recently purchased another tegu and was told it's an Arg B&W but then someone else told me it's a Columbian, not an Argentine tegu :chin ... Can someone help me out with this? Also, if you can point out the differences... Thanks!
This is Malice... my first Gu... she is a Whitey & Jam baby born in July... Thanks Bobby for such a beautiful little Gu gurl... She was definitely worth the wait, but it seems I will be waiting some more as she has gone back into hibernation lol... Isn't she a beauty?
Oh ok... Cool then I guess it means I don't have to worry about it then... Yeah, some days Sandy is a little hyper & others she just chills in her basking spot... Thanks for the info CK!
Hey Cornking! Yeah she's back to her normal self... quick question though: at what age do beardies start to brumate? Reason I ask is bc she goes into her hide when it starts getting dark outside... my male beardie, which is about a month younger than her, doesn't do this... he stays out...
Just update everyone... I took Sandy to the vet this morning & I have somewhat good news... She doesn't have MBD... she got x-rays done and her bones mass is fine except for some slight tenderness... He said I got her the UVB in time to further prevent any bone damage & since she hasn't...
