Best place to put humidifier in enclosure?

This is absolutely the simplest fogger. Made it from a ultrasonic cool mist humidifier from target. A fishtank gravel cleaner fits PERFECT. Cut the cleaner end down to 3-4" stick the hose end through a small hole. Can be run through tee's and fittings for multiple discharge points or enclosures.

    TWITCHING!? MBD? HELP!

I always provide a basking spot temp higher than "recommended". It is all about choices. He can bask on the higher temp for less time or a cooler one for longer according to his needs.

    Crypress mulch blend?

"dirt" and sand from back yard, some cheap peat moss from home depot or menards, leaf litter from backyard as well. You can bake it to remove any unwanted hitchhikers. So the mixture is basically free.

UV bulbs are a waste of money?

Not a very good "blanket" statement. Simply not true or proven. Whole prey food items and natural sunlight can negate the need.

building my new argentine tegu the best tegu cage ever

Yeah they do, but no one said gold fish! Also most farm raised fish of most species have a questionable nutritional breakdown, due to feeding practices. many are fed waste and by products from other animals. I believe that simply feeding your tegu a fillet of a fish is not the answer. Whole...

building my new argentine tegu the best tegu cage ever

I think fish would be fine to feed as long as they were quarantined and "cleansed" of parasites, etc.

LOL...the glove is his fav. hidey hole. Put it in his enclosure to familiarize him with it and my scent, and ever since he just loves it.

Is this a normal rate of growth?

try feeding them in the enclosure until they settle down a bit. taking them out of their comfortable "zone" may cause them to get scared.

Just goy my 2 tegu's in tuesday... a little help is need but very much appreciated

I think the "smelly" shirt thing only works minimally, unless u are actually always that "smelly". No sense getting him used to stink when u smell like roses. I prefer to use a glove. Get him used to that, being on it and basking on it.

Being busy and slammed at work is hardly an excuse for poor customer service. And to say just because he has good stock you need to deal with whatever crap he wants to feed you is BS. This forum is here because of issues exactly like this. To discuss good and bad aspects of animals, products...

    Varnyard 2012 Reds

Part of the issue I see is that even though many carriers/shippers check the heat at the destination, but not transfer points. Most of my shipments go through memphis, so in theory it can be 80 here and where the shipper is and 95 in memphis. Also most of the times I have ordered the seller...
