Hey all,
My girl, who's about 30 inches long, went down for brumation in mid-October. It's my first time having my pet brumate, and so far it looks like it's going well. She doesn't look dehydrated or like she's losing any weight with how little she eats nowadays, but my question has more to do...
He might be starting to brumate. I've owned my girl for as long as you've owned yours, so I haven't had any experience with this yet, and mine is showing no signs of slowing down. Hopefully someone with more experience can provide some insight.
While I was feeding Kitara out on the patio tonight, I found a piece of PVC pipe. It very quickly became a lizard toy!
What do you guys do to entertain your lizards? Anyone have any fun toys or puzzle balls? Feel free to try this out.
This is probably the best advice I've ever seen as an answer to this type of question. Kudos to Debita for being so helpful!
I've never worked with a gold, but when I started taking my girl (b&w) outside, she would do the classic flip from playful, adorable pet to an uncontrollable tornado...
Hi all!
I'm new to the forum and I have a 27-28" female (pretty sure) black and white tegu. I got her in the beginning of March, and in the last 6 months she's grown like a weed and given me hours of fun, exploration, headaches, and everything in between. I'll post pictures when I can.
