I know my Columbian doesn't like me handling him when his head is in shed. He used to bite, so I left him alone and came back to him every couple of hours until he calmed down. Now he lets me handle him no problem.
My tegu woke up from hibernation for some water and when I gave him a look over to make sure everything was good, I realized that he was Argentine like I was told when I bought him. I feel like I know the answer, but is the any difference care wise?
I have a 6 month black and white Argentine black who went into hibernation late September and I found poke his head out today. The temperature nor the humidity have changed since he went down, is it normal for them to hibernate for a short time?
