New Updated pics of my red

Hey I haven't been on here in a while but thought I'd share some new pictures. This is my red that I got from Bobby about 2 years ago... Sorry for the bad picture quality and he is getting ready to shed this week as well. His personality is great! He has never bitten anyone, is handled daily and...

what do you guys think about this red

My red I got from Varnyard last year is that size (yearling now) and a lot more brightly colored, as for signs of any problems I would need to inspect it a bit closer

Anery red? No dice on a search for that here.

I have a red (got from Bobby last year) and he is about 26" long already feeding on F/T adult mice a couple days a week (ground turkey, fish, etc. the rest of the time). It is very possible that your tegu is a yearling but was fed a lot of crickets and mealworms which don't have nearly as much...

What is your Red Tegu like?

I have a red and he is super tame. I handle him everyday (that he is awake) and never feed him live food or in his cage.

    How long before handling?

I would just let him adjust to his new environment for a day or two and then you should be able to start working with him (assuming he doesn't just go to sleep if hes still hibernating). If he is burrowed definitely dont dig him out!

male borneo i just picked up

Nice stripe! I have a male borneo and he is my favorite snake I have ever owned. He is super docile and has never bitten or even hissed, but he still slams huge rats if given the chance hehe

    Red paraguayan

IMO the paraguayan red is the same as a regular red, people just try to make it seem special to make some $$, but yes reds get much larger than blues but are very tamable

    Red Tegu Hide question

My reds hide is the coolest part of the tank. I have a 6' long tank and a ceramic heater on at night and a 160W powersun on during the day, and both are located on the half of the tank away from his hide. I also put a hide on the warmer side and he prefers the cool side at night, plus if you red...
