    very sad, but good news is that i took him to my vet today. looks ok actually even all he's been through. got some meds and as soon as i got him home he took a f/t hopper. good sign that his appetite is returning. i also started a new BOI thread on Ashley here...

    Crypress mulch blend?

    Our Lowes has cypress mulch, and I mix it with peat moss that I get from our local feed stores. For my larger tegus i've also mixed in play sand to the mulch/moss mixture as well.

    You guys want to see what Ashley aka Sakara did to Kinky? She abandoned him in a house in Austin, Tx and he went for almost 2 full months with no food, no water, and no lights. A friend of mine found him in the house and I am now rehabbing Kinky. Here's a picture of Kinky the day he was found...
