    Yearling Male diet?

That's pretty much the same diet that I have my girl on. I also heard that Tilapia fish is good for them too, and they're suppose to really like it. I'm going to get some this week and try it. The important thing is variety.

    Baby tegu enclosure

My tegu is around 25" (tip of nose to tip of tail) and I just put her in her new enclosure which is 8x4x2 and I think she loves having the extra wide space. Peat moss?

Some people (like me) are new to forums and aren't exactly sure how they totally work. I'm kinda use to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram were I write something and get a response within minutes. Forgive me for not knowing all of the rules.

    New tegu mom

Just wanted to say hello. I'm a new tegu mom... I've had my baby girl for about 3 weeks. She's an argentine b/w tegu.

    Peat moss?

I'm new here and I just got my argentine tegu 3 weeks ago. The sphagnum peat moss is what I use for my substrate. I also have cypress mulch on top of that. Things can just be a little bit messy with the peat moss, but it holds humidity good.

    Any advice

Right now I'm using two 75watt flood bulbs, one 150watt flukers basking bulb, and of course a 10.0 uvb bulb. My enclosure is 8x4x2 and so far my temps have been right on. I use 100% peat moss mixed with cypress mulch and the humidity has also been fine.
