Walter1- He likes crickets, but not everyday and he like to lick the egg but he wont eat it. Goingto also try a raw egg tomorrow.
I also mix the ground turkey with scrambled egg, and he will take a couple bites of the thrkey, but wont eat the egg
also, i can not get him to eat a pinky.. ive tried several times but ended up having to give the pinky to my rosy boa:( maybe some just dont eat mice??? not really sure, its been bugging me.. i want him to be the healthiest tegu around
my little gu has been the same way since i got him about a month ago. loves crickets but only if he can chase them. and i finally go him to eat some ground turkey, but he will only eat it if i hand feed him.

When i turn it on he walks around or basks in the light as normal, but i have heard people worried about foggers being the cause to a repiratory infection. My only worry about them
also live in California, bought a repti fogger to keep the humidity at a steady 70-85% all day. just had some concerns about the fog. have you heard of tegus not liking the fog??
nice, i just purchased a repti-fogger yesterday , kind of seems like a lot of fog.
have you heard bad things about tegus and the foggers??
warm side is at 90 - Colder side is at about 70, but ive been told i should bump it up to 100-110.. if that sounds accurate?

Any updates on your tegu? Did he/she start eating, and what were you feeding him/her? Mine is having the same problem, im sure its just adapting to its new home but im still worried. Just wanted an idea of some different things to try because it doest seem like he is liking the pinkies.
