Coco's first vet checkout went well, healthy from nose to tail! I had called my local vet a week earlier about a slightly swollen vent. It actually was gone the next day but decided just to take her in that week as just a Checkup and to talk with staff as I have taken other reptiles there...
Thanks for the replies. I had built several boa enclosure so I used the same technique for this enclosure except the obvious size. After I get the wood all put together I sand down fine then add my stain of choice. I just use regular stain, no water proof or anything like that. Then I sand again...
Little guy/girl loves getting out once a day to play in its big pen, which will serve as its permanent enclosure when it gets bigger. Chapo is a big fan of taking all the fake plants and arranging them inside random hides.
The other day I took ours outside and set it down in the grass. Immediately it spun around and lunged and my hand. It's never done either of these things before inside its cage or on the floor of our herp room. From my experience lizards are more sensitive to any type of change more than other...
After a few weeks this little guy/girl has really calmed down. He loves getting out once a day to explore and play around. Clicker training seems to be working already, as it appears to be responding to the sound
