On my backround I used 3/4" styrofoam boards, drew rocks on them then took a soldering iron and melted the in between areas. Put 3 coats of gray tinted drylok then spray painted them. I did a few trial runs cause it does take some practice. Here is a pic of my backround.
total dimentions are 8ft wide by 4ft deep by 6ft tall. The bottom 2 ft are for substrate. On the right side there is a burrowing box and on the left is going to be a big water part (2x4) with a waterfall and around it is going to be more area to burrow.
I have several cages from boa master and I love them. But I agree that he forgets stuff to put in but if your going for a tegu enclosure unless you are rich build your own. No one makes good tegu enclosures(they need to explore and be stimulated) so really only option is homemade
What I found as a good sliding door which I prefer is a storm window laid sideways. Many sizes and they lock and also can take out panels and climb into enclosure(if you have big) and clean it out
Most of the miracle grow potting soil has fertilizer so be careful. Organic topsoil with well washed play sand( or beach sand) works well but if you going that far might as well setup a bio active substrate.
One thing I figured out for enclosures is for a sliding door the best is a storm window laid sideways. Can buy at Home Depot 36x55(or size that works) for $60. Are sliding and can remove panels when you have to climb in and clean
