I remember reading about that and that definitely was going through my mind. The room has stuff he can get behind but nothing really to hurt himself on.
Today my kids were wanting to see our new Tegu. So I got it out of the tank. He was calm at first then before I knew it he jumped onto the floor and ran behind some stuff. Took a few minutes but I finally caught him. I don't know who was more frightened him or me. Also they are a lot faster...
[attachment=5414]This is the only picture I took yesterday. He's still getting used to his new home. Still pretty skitish. Also his tongue isn't completely purple but I will take a picture of it as soon as I can.
Like a lot of other people I paid for a Tegu from Varnyard and never received it. I am finally getting one though, it's a cross between a red and a blue. I will be getting it tomorrow and I am so excited.
He told me last week FedEx wouldn't ship live animals if the temperatures were over 90 degrees. Looks like temps in Panama City are going to be in the high 80s the next few days hopefully he can get some out..
I talked to Bobby this morning and sent in the rest of my payment. He said he's having a hard time shipping do to the temps. Looks like the temps in his area will be in the high 80s this weekend and early next week, hopefully he can get more sent out.
