so I'm needing some help with my Red Tegu I have he is about 5 months old an absolutely dose not like being taken out of cage. I've held him about three times. First one went well just hung out under shirt. But now he dose not even let me try an pick him up. I've been feeding him in his cage cause of course I can't pick him up very well an when I'm at work m-f he only comes out when I'm gone. So any advice one to get him a little more willingly to leave the cage? By the way I do leave an old shirt in there daily.

Colten, trying feeding outside of the enclosure to associate being taken out as feeding time. :) It's also the point where I've let my tegu free roam my bathroom while I completely do my own thing.
This has worked for me at least since my tegu knows that every day at the same time she gets to eat and be out of her enclosure.
