So I have been working with eli a lot and saw vanilla come out (she's slowed down a lot) so I put my hand out and she climbed right up it! So after handling her for a while I went to put her back in and she wanted nothing to do with her tank so I opened eli's tank and she went right in, after watching them be afraid of each other for a bit they both got semi comfortable :)

Yep, great stuff. Use it for all of our inverts, except for one goofy Tarantula my husband had had forever....she always lived on paper towel and she FREAKED when we gave her Eco earth, literally stayed on the side of her cage until we gave her paper towel back....lol! We have some...er....special animals....like the ball python that will only eat if you hold the rat for her the whole time she's swallowing it. Ha!

So I had to move and wake up vanilla my extreme out of hibernation I couldn't think of any other way. The tanks I have won't fit into my rooms door or the basement door and with work I don't have enough time to disassemble the tanks and put them back together til this weekend so eli and vanilla are both using my room for a tank! The room is extremely tegu proof they have in one corner 20g breeders with a sheet over it next to the heater and that's where they sleep and in the other corner I have a deep dome fixture clamped to the window ledge with a 160w solarglo and under that is a bin with a hole cut in it with a sheet and rock to bask on. They are getting along well and even though eli is a month younger than vanilla he is a lil bit bigger than her now but he has. Not hibernated. In september vanilla was. Considerably bigger. They are both between 2 and 2 1/2 feet long. Vanilla is showing no signs of going back to sleep and eli's temperment has done a complete 180 after working with him a lot. Here are some pics of them hanging out together enjoy :)

@ bubblz his coloring is weird, he's getting a stronger and stronger pink tint with age, from the top half of his body (horizontal) he's a silverish white with pink tint definintly more silverish and the bottom half is a bright white. His head is bronze with no red and his teardrop goes away more and more with age (sob) lol I don't think his coloring is nearly done yeat I'm still holding out for his head to become a silverish white :) @tegubuzz thank you I'm glad she took being woken up so great lol
