When my tegu is walking around and licking everything sometimes he catches some dog hairs or fluff in the corners, would this affect him in anyway or would it just pass through him and come out the other end?

With proper husbandry it should pass, it would take a lot of fur to cause an issue other wise. But I would also suggest cleaning more often and or removing the fluff before it's swallowed.
