(sleeps too long)Need Help QUICK!

Hello guys. My baby tegu has been really sleepy for the past 3 weeks, he can go to sleep like 4 days straight, the problem is, that he is a baby, and he is not eating those 4 days while he is sleeping, so I’m asking this: Is it okay to wake up my tegu in this type of situations?

nope, he is actually really fat with a nice tail. His legs seem fine to me

He was out today so I took a picture of him, he is really active, he likes to make alot of burrows on the dirt and take a splash in his tub.

Is it okay to wake up my tegu in this type of situations?

Yes, you’ve given him time to settle in. Waking him up should be no problem—especially if he eats and drinks when you do.

Have you tried feeding live insects? He looks healthy by the pics... he active and digging burrows constantly all sounds well with him...
