rhino vs. aloe plant???

hey any other rhino or cuban owners out there know if aloe plant bad for rhino iguanas. my male jumped and broke a plant and ate half of it before i new what happened i cant see it being to bad because humans can drink it, eat it ,and rub it all over our skin. anyone know????

Hey bro,
I do not have experience with them but I did some searching for you. I was only able to come up with one site that mentioned it and that Aloe Is Toxic. I don't know how trust worthy the site is but I think you should call your vet.

But then again I found a site that says it Is Not Toxic.

As for the majority of the edible vs toxic lists out there....they don't even list Aloe to begin with.

i found same stuff called 3 vets and recived 3 differnt answers 1 had no idea, 2 said toxic and will die at any moment?? 3 said perfectly edabile just do not feed regularly. im siding with the 3rd for its been 2 days and he is perfectly fine. but who knows???? its a mystery...

I think your safe. Most veggie eaters can eat toxic plants without harm. Aloe shouldn't be that toxic. His poop should be interesting. LOL
