No they are not illegal here but as of January 1st they will be required to be micro chipped.

I've read a couple of interesting articles about the proliferation of Niles in Florida, I can't remember the name of the particular community at this time, and that there is a guy trapping and trying to exterminate them.

You guys also have Pythons and other large predators that are not indigenous, including Tegus.

Isn't that a Tegu in the link?

GOOD! I didn't wanna look stupid. That's the pic of the captured Nile. Looked like a Tegu to me. I was confused. Screw trying to microchip a Nile. I wanna see who's job that is.

muahaha. I'm the last poster on all recent topics right now. Euthanizing Niles in messed up. People spend big money on those and they should have a pretty big rescue in FLorida cause they are everywhere.
