My new male Blue!!!

I have wanted a Blue Tegu for years and tonight I picked up my new boy.

I am ecstatic!!!

Meet my my as of yet unnamed boy.

After my Wife and I have had a bit of time to mull it over his name has been decided.

"Denver" after a children's Cartoon we both loved growing up.

I am letting him settle in before taking a bunch of pictures to post here. I am so Happy!!!

Gonna be a few days before I do a full photo spread to give him a chance to settle in to his new enclosure and get comfortable.

So I got home today fully committed to letting Denver get acclimated to his new surroundings. Within 5 mins he was scratching at the plexiglass looking at me.

So I opened up the cage and out Pops the Tegu onto my lap.

Well.... When my wife got home she saw the cage open and started to let me have it until she saw this.

I had brought Denver to the couch where he promptly fell asleep snuggled up to my tummy, covered up with comforter.

Long story short I got some Tegu love.

I am pretty sure Denver is down for the winter but he was out basking tonight so I gave him a Soak and let him roam a bit.
