Looking for a new home for our young Argentine Black and White Tegu

Sadly we have to find a new home for our lovely Indy, a 1.5-year-old black and white Argentine Tegu. We have not had her for long so I can't speak much to her character but she's always been pretty chill, loves meatballs and hornworms! Not much into veggies, but I'm told they grow into it. LOL. I've included a pic of Indy with my son for size reference! Not sure if Indy is male or female...

We're located Middletown, NJ and would love to chat and see if we can't find Indy a new home.

She really is a beautiful one. Sadly I don’t know enough about shipping live animals, I can’t imagine she’d do well with something like that. She’s very young still. Where are you? Perhaps a road trip is in order? Lol. Good luck!

She is still available! I wouldn't feel comfortable shipping her which is why I was hoping to find her a more local home. What part of MA are you in? Would you be able to pick her up?

Thanks, I just don't like the idea. If I could convince the Mrs. I would road trip to CO! I've never been and would love to visit.

Can confirm, my fam is in CO and I grew up there. It's absolutely gorgeous and a blast. Go visit the Denver Zoo if you get a chance

yeah, my fav is the crocodile farm in alamosa. there are gators everywhere

She is one and a half years old? My male black and white is the same age and he is three times her size.

So we got her at the pet expo, about 6 months ago and I was told she was a year old then. Maybe she’s much younger? This is my first lizard so i am learning as we go along...

As much as she’ll eat! Lol. Normally we have turkey meatbals, field mice, veggies, berries, but mormally she only eats the meatballs and the grapes. She’ll eat some strawberries if she’s in the mood.
