Hello everyone. I've had my dear tegu Ghost for 5 months now.
According to the people I've bought him from, he should be about a year old now.
Guides I have read have recommended feeding a tegu around his age three times a week,
however I've fed him every day since I've purchased him. He gets really hungry and paces around the cage if he doesn't get his food.
I'm wondering if I've been over-feeding him, or if it is even possible to over feed a growing tegu.
I've neglected to weigh or measure him up to this point, so I thought I'd do so today.
I don't have a very great scale, but he is roughly 6-7 pounds.
I have attached several photos of him. The plastic bin he is sitting in is 34 inches long, which makes his length including tail around 2 and a half feet.
PS: I also included a photo of his feces. do you guys think it looks normal?
