I have an amazing 4 year old Colombian Tegu who had a mouth infection that was cleared out with antibiotics from our vet but since then he has been waking up with eye crustiest that he keeps scratching. We did a series of antibiotic eye drops and now the crusties look like when you wake up not like a sinus infection,

Is there an eye wash or wipe that reduces the irritation to keep him from scratching/?
I dont think he would like wearing a cone on his head like a dog

Where is the bacteria originating from? Does he have proper temps? Without the proper heat their immune systems can’t fight off foreign bacteria.

cool in the 70s and the highest that he likes is 90, this is the firt time that he has had any issues and I've had him from a baby

he really doesn't like it that hot, we have the temp gun, and his basking spot is on a body pillow with natural sun, a SAD light with the uv filter off and 2 basking lights, he usually goes to the 90-100 spot for 30 min
