[attachment=5680]Here is my pygmy marmoset, Barry. He was an impulse buy, to say the least. He turned out to be nothing like I was told he would be. He has cost me more over the past 4 years than all of my other pets combined. He chatters and makes noise constantly, but does little, if nothing else. Hopefully he will be looking for a new home after this Tuesday. I will be glad to get rid of him and will never make that mistake again.

No, the female I had to breed had some health issues and I had to rehome her. The three I have left are all now fixed.

Wow, your ferrets are so big and fluffy! Mine have insulinoma and adrenal disease. My panda mitt is half naked, but a hilarious little character! They were a couple rescues that were living in a pathetic cage in someone's backyard and being fed rat food.

I don't know if this could help ferrets but when one of my bats lost his hair I gave him cod liver oil and taurine suppliment...also humidity can be raised to hydrate skin issues (similar to reptiles). Just a thought. My bat started of like a bald potato and ended up with silky, thick hair :)

I will trade you a Short Tailed Opossum for a fruit bat. I NEED a fruit bat. Really, I MUST have one. I will take him with me everywhere. If there is a God in heaven, please bless me with a fruit bat.

Thanks, BatGirl. They both get a daily supplement of cod liver and olive oil, and baldy gets a hospital grade lotion applied to her bare skin. They get Lupron injections that sometimes restore hair growth when the hormone imbalance gets under control.

I have never owned a fruit bat...haha.I have rehabilitated two types of insectivorus bats.it is not legal to keep as pets. In england it is...I am in u.s. but would also die for an egyptian fruit bat...
