So I know the vast majority of what I've read has said not to disturb your tegu while they're sleeping in their "safe place". Fafnir is quite the sleeper and i wanna make sure he gets fed properly. I usually just slowly pick up his hide, sometimes he stays asleep, and leave him be for a couple minutes to wake up.
Is this an alright solution to waking him up in order to get him out and feed him? Or might this still be breaking trust? He seems not too bothered by it.
