Blue decided to grace us with his presence yesterday and again today. Already, he is calm and easier to handle. Most important, Blue's dad, my son, is happy happy happy!

Hope to grace the forum with many more picture moments soon!

Now we are having trouble with him eating. Hopefully he eats the roaches.

Try frozen/thawed pinks dusted with calcium or just to whet his appetite egg yolk.

Enjoy them when they're young as they say. Next year he'll be a hoss! Although lovable

I didn't think they were big enough for pinks yet. I will try the egg yolks though.

We have been giving him ground Turkey with tilapia. That went well with the gold as a baby, but it sounds like that might not be typical. Thanks for the feedback.

He is in a 40 gallon tank with a screen top. I cut a piece of plywood to 3/4 of the screen, with holes to trap the heat in better.
