Black Throat growth

Just a note about Kinabo's growth rate. For a month or so Kinabo, about 10 months old now, has been sort of holding at 43-44". I picked him up a couple of days ago to take him into the bathroom and was astounded.
He shot up to 48" in what seemed like overnight.
I really am not a person whom exaggerates and when I picked him up, he stretched from his head, which was on the side of my neck to his tail, at my knees. I am 6' 4" by the way. I confirmed it with a tape measure as well.
I should add that he is getting heavy as well and moving into the ranks of "huge lizard".
