Hi my baby tegu out of no where just stopped eating about a week ago, he’s constantly hiding now, temps are all good, Plenty of uv, any ideas what it could be, I didn’t think he would be old enough for Brumation?
I don't thibnk there's an age for brumation. It's their internal clock as far as I know, that kicks in - some later than others. Sorry there's been no answer for a long time...I've been super busy despite pandemics! I wouldn't worry about him hiding though. They do that when they're resting, or adapting/settling in to new owners. They also are very individual animals, which makes it hard to suggest anything without a lot more information.
