    when i first got my colombian he was very skiddish and wouldn't eat but everyday i seen improvement,and now he's tame and lets me hold him and pet him.it just takes time to tame them but very possible.and for the food try roaches,ground turkey,locusts,mealworms with some calcium.my guy loves...

    it would work as a temporary home the monitor would grow out of it in time.but seal it so there's no leaks and so you dont get mold in the cracks.
