Thank you. I bought the evergreen pet supplies fogger. It was about 60$ and the zoo med environmental control 125$. So far, I am liking the fogger as Clifford does not drag his substrate all over the house because of a wetness from the misters.
Thank you for the input. I picked up a fogger. Figured I would change it up a a bit. Not 100% sold on it yet, as I think it is skipping cycles even though it has been programmed.
Hi all, my experience terra monsoon RS 400 took a crap on me. I have never used a fogger before, and I am looking for some input and preferences you all use. Any suggestions would be great. I have an 8x2x2 PVC and glass enclosure for my male Argentine red Clifford.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
Plexiglass is a good choice. Do you have a hydrometer to measure humidity? A solid substrate that holds moisture is great too. I have a PVC enclosure and the humidity is 80% consistently.
Hello, I have installed a 100 watt bulb in a porcelain fixture. The bulb is about 8” away from the basking rock. The problem is the temp is only getting to around 87. Checking it w a temp gun. What wattage do you guys use? Humidity is 80%, and he is an 8x2x2
thanks guys and gals.

My 1 year old male has been charging at me today out side of his enclosure. Could this be just teen aggression? He has not done this before, and has been friendly. He is about 10 lbs is so.
I shouldn’t be concerned about them coming out from time to time basking then going back in their hide? I just few as though I am missing something or not doing it right. I only had my female last year, and she didn’t go into brumation.
Hi Walter, I responded in the hibernation page. I am not super familiar with the navigation on this site. Perhaps you could review my post and give me some feed back?
I picked up a juvenile Male Red. I got him 2 weeks ago. I unboxed him, let him settle in then when into brumation. I check on him, and make sure there is water in his enclosure. He is housed with my 2’ female. Temp on the cool side is 74, and about 110 on the basking side about 12” away from...
