I have a what will be a 4 month old tomorrow black and white tegu that i must let go cause i just found out im being shipped out April first... I wanna keep him but would have no one to watch him for 4months... I paid 200 plus shipping a month ago for him... So would want the same
I just sat by the tank for the first week... Then i sat there with my hand in there right by thw bascking spot..... And he started licking it and tasting it.... Pretty soon i was picking him up.... I learned that i couldnt be scared and has to realize hes more scared of me then i him... Lol...
Selling as soon as they for reptiles is ok though right.... Cause wouldnt they be on there own from day one in the wild.. I mean they are not dogs or cats who benifit from there mothers milk.... ...
No expert with snakes at all but maybe a heat pad with a hide of some sort so he doesnt feel like hes just sitting out in the open... And just keep checking the hide.... Maybe put a mouse on it to maybe...
