    Just wanted to add that even though you should give your tegu free roam time it needs to have a proper(and properly sized) enclosure..8'x4' is the minimum i believe but bigger is always better. If you want a healthy animal you cant just let it wander your house. You cannot give it the humidity...

    Im wondering how well paint will stick to melamine. Ill bet somewhere could order you black instead so you dont need to paint anything.. Ive actually seen other ppl use something that is melamine on one side and the other side is paintable wood althought im not sure where you get that..

    I actually looked into getting a falconry license a while back. Its alot harder than i thought it would be and ALOT of work. If someday you do go through with it good luck! It would be very cool..i just dont have the dedication..

    I think it looks like bad nose rub too. It looks like its healed/healing but i dont think itll heal to the point of looking normal but it shouldnt negatively affect eating or anything..
